Find out what’s on the Peninsula already as it emerges as a new neighbourhood for London.
You’ll find a community of new settlers making their mark on an emerging part of London.
All of the neighbourhoods on Greenwich Peninsula are entirely new, this means the communities you build will be completely new too. It’s a chance to make friends, invent fresh traditions and create the kind of place you want to live in.
Upper Riverside is a community within a community with its own character and amenities. Residents have membership of the Upper Riverside Club, with one of London’s highest pools, two gyms, steam room, private cinema and private roof terraces all with views of the river.
The riverfront promenade is lined with destination restaurants, neighbourhood cafes and cool bars, creating a vibrant cosmopolitan atmosphere.
A new swathe of London that brings together 15,000 new homes, seven diverse neighbourhoods, culture, community, and the sense of a new place inventing itself before your eyes. It’s also just 15 minutes to the West End.
Upper Riverside is Greenwich Peninsula’s latest emerging neighbourhood, made up of five prisms. At their feet, pavement cafes, bars, destination restaurants and a sculptural 5km running trail, all with views of the water, creating a vibrant cosmopolitan atmosphere.
Upper Riverside is SOM’s latest addition to the London skyline. A family of five prisms that point towards the water’s edge with pavement cafes and restaurants at their feet. They form a twisting parabola that begins at The O2 and creates a stunning riverfront landmark.
The unique geography and architecture of Upper Riverside makes the most of the 270-degree panoramic river views. A series of cascading roof terraces shelter verdant spaces high above the water.
Interspersed with landscaped walkways, Upper Riverside’s stepped and angled design brings an unusual quality of light. The façade of glass and stone ensures living spaces enjoy maximum daylight and river views.
Upper Riverside pays homage to its setting with apartments that prioritise comfort, light and space and the homes are well planned with an open, uncrowded feel.
Designed by State of Craft, the finishes speak of solidity and craftsmanship. Full-length windows and timber floors bring light and warmth to open living spaces. Modern kitchen appliances are seamlessly integrated with sleek cabinetry and thick stone workshops.
The bathrooms are well planned and impressively fitted. Natural oak timber, leathered stone and honed marble create an elegant sanctuary.
