The Fulmar

The Architecture

A light exterior references traditional masonry materials, while inset balconies with tactile metal balustrades give the building its own character.

The elegant entrance pulls the garden space into the lobby, which couples generosity, warmth and homeliness with a real sense of arrival.

Designed by dsdha, an award-winning UK architecture firm named building design’s architect of the year.

Interior Design

A robust, authentic approach to interior design reflects the area’s naval history and celebrates the functional beauty of working vessels with brass, wood and oxidised metal.

The apartment palette is drawn from one of the famous frescoes of the Old Royal Naval College at Greenwich. Shimmering lighting harks back to river and sky.

A cosy reading room with lush suede, wood and worked metal, and a sociable lounge area clad in smoked timber, provide residents with a warm welcome.

The residents’ roof-top terrace is a setting for glamorous evenings at home and with friends, with a covered seating area designed to catch the day’s first and last light. Cherry trees and greenery lit at night bring the changing seasons to The Fulmar’s rooftop refuge.
